Earlier today, some made in Nigeria cars were spotted at the senate car park of the National Assembly. The Innoson cars which were six in number included a jeep, a van and other salon vehicles. The call to patronize made in Nigeria goods started after the Made in Aba trade fair which took place at Area 11, Garki Abuja on Monday, February 8. At the trade fair, Cornel Osigwe, the spokesman of Innoson Motors revealed that the company would try to get the National Assembly to acquire its cars as its official car. Senate president, Bukola Saraki pledged the support of the Senate to local manufacturers in 2016, saying government’s patronage will be ensured through policies.
